Frequently asked about the course

What level of German do I need? +
Tasks are in German, just like the exam. We recommend starting from B1. Lectures have subtitles in Russian, Ukrainian and English, and terms are translated.
How much time do I need per week? +
Usually 4–6 hours. If your exam is soon, the plan gets denser; if it's far away, it stretches.
Is the course right for my college? +
The course is built from the official test descriptions of the colleges (FU Berlin, München, Halle, Hannover, Leipzig and others). We set it up for your colleges — you only see their subjects. The list of colleges with test subjects and deadlines is on the “All Studienkollegs” page.
What is Plus and when should I add it? +
Plus covers the first-semester Studienkolleg subjects of your field: video lectures, notes, tasks and mock class tests. You can add it from the first day of preparation, after the Zusage or during your studies — all topics open at once.
Can I add Plus later? +
Yes, at any time — message your tutor or click “Get Plus” in your account. One topic in each Plus subject is free for all course students.
Which devices can I use? +
In the browser on a computer, tablet or phone — nothing to install.
Do you guarantee I'll pass the test? +
No — the result depends on your preparation and the competition. We provide complete material, exam-format mock tests and show you honestly where the gaps are.
Can I change my college or course? +
We change colleges and semester on request — just write to your curator. The course track (T, M, W, G or S) is linked to your account when you enrol.
How do I pay and how fast is access granted? +
